3 rusted shells found, destroyed in J&K’s Samba | Jammu News

JAMMU: Police said locals found three rusted artillery shells in a village in Samba district of Jammu & Kashmir, which were later destroyed in a controlled explosion on Sunday.Some locals found the shells along the banks of Basantar river near Palth village and reported the matter to police, following which a police team went to the spot and cordoned off the area.“The police team called in a bomb disposal squad, which destroyed them in controlled explosion,” officials said.
