But a man livng in the quiet corners of Kerala took creativity to another level by turning old automobile parts into the centerpiece of his home decor. The unique house we are talking about doesn’t have your traditional furniture. Instead, guests in this house sit on objects made of old car or bike parts. What looks like scrap metal to the rest of the world, the homeowner has transformed these into stunning pieces of artistic decor. Once you enter the house, you’ll find yourself staring at scooter-shaped sofas and chandeliers made of cycle rims. This unique property belongs to an automobile enthusiast and mechanic. The man decided to turn his passion for vehicles to made beautiful design peieces for his house. Growing up, he developed a fascination for machines and learned how to repair vehicles. Later, he started his own two-wheeler workshop. There he collected a lot of spare parts and that’s when the idea came to his mind. An unusual idea though, to create a home decorated entirely with recycled automobile parts.He took all the broken and unused vehicle parts and reimaged them as everyday household items. It’s a house of a creative person. The entrance of the home doesn’t feature a traditional mailbox, but a bright red Yamaha fuel tank converted into a letterbox! Clever, right? Another stellar piece of art here is a dismantled Ambassador car repurposed into a stunning seating arrangement.Every furniture inside the house tells a story. Another eye-catching item is a sofa made from a classic Bajaj Chetak scooter. Looks absolutely amazing. The front of the scooter forms the seat, complete with its glowing headlight. It is all very nostalgic.Close to it is a centre table which is made using a motorcycle engine. The wall clock is made using a pressure plate from a Maruti Swift, and a chandelier is made from a cycle wheel rim. The kitchen is another surprising area of the home. The dining table here is created from spanners, nuts, bolts and chains. The conventional taps, the washbasin features a petrol pump nozzle in place of a faucet. You’ll see the refrigerator designed using car components. It is painted to look like a Volkswagen car. Unique to another level! The house is perfect example of sustainability as it reuses the old automobile parts that might otherwise end up in junkyards.
