Ganesh Visarjan Puja Vidhi : How To Bid Farewell To Bappa
The final puja begins with fresh offerings and cleaning of the worship area.Light a diya and offer flowers, durva grass, fruits, and sweets to Lord Ganesh. Serve Modak or laddoo as bhog.Do the final aarti and thank Bappa for coming to Ganeshotsav. Family members can pray for removal of obstacles, wisdom and peace.Traditionally, devotees ask for forgiveness for any transgressions that may have occurred during worship before moving the idol. Some families carefully relocate the idol from the original place to signify that the installation is complete.The idol is then immersed in water, and devotees chant devotional songs.For home Visarjan, you can immerse a small natural-clay idol in a clean container suitable for Visarjan. Anant Chaturdashi is celebrated on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturdashi. It is also dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Anant.Devotees of Lord Ganesha celebrate the day to mark the end of 10-day Ganeshotsav festivities.Immersion means returning the temporary idol to the elements.
