वृक्षों से ही जीवन, इसकी सुरक्षा हम सभी का कर्तव्य – अशोक कुमार
उपमण्डलीय विधिक सेवा समिति कसौली द्वारा आज सोलन के कसौल वैली गांव में पौधरोपण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता उपमण्डलीय विधिक सेवा समिति के अध्यक्ष एवं अतिरिक्त मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी कसौली अशोक कुमार ने दी।
अशोक कुमार ने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना तथा हरित क्षेत्र में वृद्धि करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि वृक्षों से ही जीवन है और इसकी सुरक्षा हम सभी का कर्तव्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि केवल पौधरोपण करने तक सीमित न रहे, रोपे हुए पौधों की देखभाल भी करें ताकि भविष्य में यह पौधा एक स्वस्थ वृक्ष बन सके।
उन्होंने इस अवसर पर विभिन्न स्कूलों से आए छात्रों से संवाद किया और उन्हें पर्यावरण संरक्षण के महत्व के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान की।
अशोक कुमार ने इस अवसर पर देवदार का पौधा रोपित किया।
इस अवसर पर ग्राम पंचायत कसौली गढ़खल के नागरिक, वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला तथा सरस्वती निकेतन नालवा स्कूल के छात्र, सम्बन्धित विभाग के अधिकारी द्वारा देवदार के 100 पौधे रोपित किए गए।
ग्राम पंचायत कसौली गढ़खल के प्रधान राम सिंह, वन विभाग के खण्ड अधिकारी जसविन्द्र सिंह, स्वयं सेवी संस्थान वेस्ट वारियर केे सुनील कटवाल, विभिन्न विद्यालय के छात्र सहित स्थानीय लोगों ने कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।
